April share

Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Glentoran brought the curtain down on the final month of action in Cliftonville’s season, but which player do you think stood out most during April?

After commencing with a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Crusaders in the Samuel Gelston’s Whiskey Irish Cup, the Reds responded with a 2-0 win over Portadown in the Danske Bank Premiership; Joe Gormley’s Shamrock Park double adding to his semi-final strike against the Crues.

Goalless draws with Linfield and Larne followed ahead of Ryan Curran and Gormley getting on the scoresheet in a 2-1 win at Coleraine that commenced a run of three consecutive away matches to conclude the campaign.

Curran registered a double after Colin Coates had opened the scoring in a 3-3 North Belfast Derby draw at Seaview before the season’s concluding chapter saw Cricky Gallagher and Curran find the net against the Glens.
