Pleased Academy

The smiles on the faces of players throughout the Cliftonville Academy has said it all over the past week.

Permitted to return to training following the easing of lockdown measures, Reds youngsters have been back in action on pitches across Belfast, where having a ball at their feet has helped put months of frustration behind them.

It has likewise been a relief for coaches throughout our various age categories and, with training continuing in the days and weeks ahead, Cliftonville Football Club are delighted to see the lift this welcome return to normality has provided for so many people.

Don’t forget that the Cliftonville Ladies Skills School has also resumed.

Open to girls of all abilities aged 5-9, sessions take place between 4.45pm-5.45pm on Wednesdays and 11am-12pm on Sundays and, at a cost of just £3, provide the perfect sporting environment for youngsters to improve their social, interactive and footballing skills, so why not bring your daughter along and let her experience the fun for herself?

With limited numbers permitted, anyone keen on getting involved is asked to register their interest by contacting Marty Douglas either by emailing marty@cliftonvillefc.net or by texting 07935443924.
