Cliftonville were denied a late Christmas present when Crusaders rescued a last-gasp point from today’s rearranged St Stephen’s Day Derby at Solitude.
Trailing to Jamie McGonigle’s early penalty, the Reds hit back through home debutant Rory Hale before Chris Hegarty’s own goal turned the tie on its head.
That looked set to earn Cliftonville all three North Belfast Derby points until the 93rd minute, when Ben Kennedy’s cross from the right crept beyond everyone in the middle and into the net.
