Returns to form

As a host of Cliftonville’s underage sides step up their long-awaited returns to the pitch, this weekend saw two of our National League sides produce stirring pre-season performances.

The young talents from the Reds’ Under 12 and Under 11 set-ups were in Friday night action, following on from a recent spate of fixtures that included our Under 5s contesting their first ever game as a team and the ongoing fonaCAB Development League programme.

Be it training or matches, our young players have been making the most of working alongside their team-mates and coaches after a long period of inactivity, with opponents such as Shankill, Glentoran, Belfast Celtic, Shamrock Rovers and Moyola Park all playing their part in the Cliftonville Academy kids getting back in the swing of things and we look forward to seeing them continuing to display their talents in the weeks and months ahead.
