Manager Paddy McLaughlin has this morning confirmed that Aaron Harkin, Caoimhin McConnell and Ronan Wilson have been made available for transfer.
McConnell, who spent last season on loan at Bluefin Sport Championship side Ards, scored one goal in 20 appearances since making his Cliftonville debut in a League Cup victory over Lisburn Distillery in August 2018, while Harkin and Wilson represented the Reds on 15 and 21 occasions, respectively.
“One of the down sides of being a Manager is making players available to other Clubs,” says McLaughlin.
“At the same time, though, you have to be fair to the players themselves. All three of them have been excellent to work with and this is no fault of theirs, but we haven’t been able to give them the minutes they need out on the pitch and this is an opportunity for them to get game time and hopefully play regularly.
“I appreciate everything they’ve done here and wish them all the very best in whatever comes next in their careers.”
