Coleraine 1-0 Cliftonville
Cliftonville slipped to a third consecutive Danske Bank Premiership defeat as Coleraine edged a tight contest at a snowy Showgrounds this evening.
Both sides created a number of half-openings without carving out anything of significance, so it was perhaps apt that the only goal of the game had a touch of fortune about it when substitute Alexander Gawne’s over-hit cross crept into the net at the far post.
The closest the Reds came to levelling was a low Conor McDermott free-kick that drew a save out of goalkeeper Chris Johns on a night that saw Cliftonville end an inconsistent January on a disappointing note.
