Cliftonville’s 2-0 victory over Glentoran this afternoon confirmed the Club’s place in next season’s Europa League.

Goalless after 90 minutes, the Reds finally made their deserved breakthrough when Joe Gormley scrambled home in the 15th minute of Extra-Time, ahead of Conor McMenamin wrapping things up with a clipped finish in the closing exchanges.

All of which means that Cliftonville will begin the 2019/20 campaign with continental commitments and boss Paddy McLaughlin – whose side will be involved in the Preliminary Round of the Europa League – can look forward to the draw on Tuesday, June 11.
