Cliftonville Girls Under 9s were delighted to meet the President of Ireland, Michael D Higgins, during his trip to Belfast on Friday.

The President visited the Irish Football Association’s Education and Heritage Centre at Windsor Park, where he and his wife Sabina were treated to an entertaining contest between the Reds and their Linfield counterparts – one which both Clubs’ senior men’s sides will hope to live up to when they meet on Danske Bank Premiership duty this Tuesday evening.
