Cliftonville Football Club were very pleased to welcome Aquinas FC Under 11s as our special guests at Saturday’s Danske Bank Premiership fixture with Ballymena United.

After enjoying a brief tour inside the McAlery Stand, the boys were formally greeted by Aaron Harkin, Ross Lavery and, of course, Red Arnie before settling in to enjoy the game.

At the interval, they took to the field to entertain spectators in small-sided contests and, after departing to generous applause, returned to their seats for the final 45 minutes of action.

Everyone at the Club extends thanks to all players and coaches involved in arranging Saturday’s trip and we look forward to welcoming the Aquinas team back to Solitude again in the near future.
