Cliftonville Ladies suffered late heartbreak as Linfield Ladies battled from behind in this evening’s Danske Bank Women’s Premiership clash at Midgley Park.

Ahead courtesy of Billie Simpson (pictured), the Reds were pegged back in the second-half before the Blues plundered an injury-time winner to extend their advantage at the top of the table to nine points.

Cliftonville, who have two games in hand on their title rivals, will take on Linfield once again this weekend, when the sides lock horns in the County Antrim Challenge Cup Final.
