Olympic suffer threefall

Cliftonville Olympic paid the penalty at Solitude tonight when Linfield Swifts hit back from 3-0 down to book their place in the Semi Finals of the George Wilson Cup.

Leading through goals from Thomas Maguire, Donal Rocks and Padraig Slane, the Reds saw their deficit cut just before half-time, with the Blues going on to drag themselves level with a double after the interval.

With no further goals, the contest progressed to a penalty shoot-out, where the Olympic slipped to a 4-3 defeat.
