A former Republic of Ireland Under-19 international, Pepper – who can operate in both defence and midfield – began his senior career with St Patrick’s Athletic and moved to Inverness Caledonian Thistle before winning the Scottish League one title with Greenock Morton in 2015.
His first taste of Irish League action came when he was snapped up by Glentoran three years later and, having subsequently featured for the Blues, put pen to paper with the Reds just ahead of the current season.
