Ronan Hale’s deflected volley broke the deadlock early on and a well-placed finish from Joe Gormley doubled the Reds’ advantage before boss Jim Magilton emptied the bench to introduce nine substitutes.
Thereafter, the closest the visitors came to extending their lead was a fiercely-struck Seanna Foster effort that drew a smart save from Crumlin’s goalkeeper.
