Lotte to be proud of

Charlotte Havern made her senior international debut in Northern Ireland Women’s World Cup Play-Off duel with Portugal this evening.

The 16-year-old midfielder (pictured, right) emerged from the bench after 81 minutes of the game at Inver Park, where the visitors registered a 4-0 victory that puts them firmly in control of the tie ahead of Tuesday’s second leg in Portimao.

Havern’s Cliftonville Ladies team-mate Maddy Harvey-Clifford was an unused substitute for the match, and all at the Reds wish both players well for the return meeting in midweek.
