Maddy Harvey-Clifford produced a big penalty save to earn Cliftonville Ladies a point from their final away game of the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership season.

Provided with a guard of honour by Linfield Women prior to the game at Midgley Park, the Champions took a 28th minute lead when Caitlin McGuinness produced a neat finish from elder sister Kirsty’s delivery into the box.

After levelling through Sophie Knight early in the second-half, the Blues had a glorious chance to edge in front when they were awarded a penalty 10 minutes from time only for Harvey-Clifford to guess the right away and keep Cora Chambers’ spot-kick out.
