Corinthian style!

One week on from Cliftonville Ladies being crowned Sports Direct Women’s Premiership Champions, our Reserve team made it a double when Cliftonville Corinthians clinched the Women’s Academy League title this afternoon.

A 1-0 win over nearest challengers Crusaders Strikers at Seaview means the Reds cannot be caught at the top of the table.

Our Girls Under-19 team entered today’s North Belfast Derby holding a five point advantage at the summit and, though a draw would have been enough to secure the honours, the victory ensured that the achievement was marked in style – and with a match to spare.

Our congratulations are extended to everyone involved with Cliftonville Corinthians, from the coaching staff to the players and their proud parents, with everyone at the Club delighted to toast this latest triumph for our silverware-laden Women’s teams.

Don’t forget you can be part of our senior Ladies side’s Premiership title party next Sunday evening, with the trophy set to be presented in the aftermath of their concluding League clash with Glentoran Women at Solitude (6pm).
