Our opening numbers

In the countdown to Friday night’s Boyle Sports Premiership opener with Crusaders, Cliftonville supporters are alerted to our squad numbers list for the 2026/27 campaign.

As well as those assigned to summer arrivals Aaron Wightman (2), Ollie Samuels (3), Dan O’Connor (4), Dean McMaster (16), Joel Thompson (17), Ben Quinn (20) and Alex Bannon (25), Kitman Brian Campbell has confirmed that defender Kyle McClelland – who sported the 13 jersey during his loan spell last term – has now assumed the number 15 shirt, while Brian Healy (formerly 29) will now don 10.

Furthermore, three Academy talents who made their senior debuts last season – Paul Stanfield (34), Alfie Anderson (38) and David Green (40) – have had their shirts confirmed, while Sean Cassidy (33), Matthew Belshaw (35) and Cillian Murray (43), all of whom have featured throughout pre-season, have likewise been alloted squad numbers for the year ahead.
