Colours of Cheoil
Cliftonville’s Official Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann Béal Feirste jerseys are now on sale.
Available to buy online as well as in-person at our Family Fun Day at Solitude, these limited edition shirts have been crafted to mark our home city’s staging of the world’s largest celebration of traditional Irish music and culture, which kicks off next weekend.
Available at a cost of £48 for Adults and £40 in Kids sizes, the slick ensembles come in two striking compositions with a predominantly Red effort offset by green and white adornment, accompanied by a White top garnished with emerald and orange trim.
The imminent arrival of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Belfast is acknowledged beneath the Club crest while, on the back, Cliftonville’s status as the island’s oldest Football Club is celebrated with ‘Ceannródaithe na hÉireann’ sloganing above a late 19th century map of Ireland – which, as well as representing the era of our formation, also provides a timely nod to our founding father John McCredy McAlery, whose grave is to be rededicated at Balmoral Cemetry this afternoon.
Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann will be hosted in Belfast for the very first time from August 2-9 and, if you’re planning on attending any events throughout the eagerly-anticipated festival, make sure you show your colours with pride by sporting one of these latest stylish additions to the Cliftonville collection.
You can get your hands on a replica by calling into Solitude during today’s celebration of Irish culture, which promises to be a wonderful precursor to the Fleadh getting under way.
Alongside live traditional music, Irish dancers and a host of food options from our award-winning Catering Partners Browns, we’ll also be staging games on the pitch and will have something for everyone to enjoy as we collectively kick off the countdown to Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann at the home of Irish football.
