Fan service
Cliftonville Football Club takes this opportunity to thank our supporters for their tremendous backing throughout the 2025/26 season.
Though our campaign ended in disappointing fashion at the weekend, it would be remiss to draw the curtain on proceedings without paying tribute to fans who were loud and proud from Gibraltar to Glentoran and everywhere in between and beyond.
The Reds’ season kicked off exactly 44 weeks ago at the picturesque Europa Point Stadium where, with the sun-kissed Moroccan coastline visible in the near distance, Ryan Curran scored the opening goal of this term’s UEFA Conference League and where Jim Magilton and his players were roared on by a typically passionate support.
Memories of that baking hot Gibraltarian evening were a far cry from cold afternoons in Coleraine, abandoned bouts in Portadown and the uniquely icy breezes that Solitude serves up all year round.
Fans of all ages routinely trekked the length and breadth of the domestic scene to get behind the team during more than one lengthy run of away fixtures and, while there were naturally frustrations to call upon, last-minute mayhem against the likes of Ballymena United, Glenavon and, perhaps most notably of all, Crusaders made for some joyous memories for mums, dads, sons and daughters who celebrated in style.
Though further reflections on the season as a whole will follow in due course, all at Cliftonville FC express our sincere gratitude to our dedicated fans and, as much as we are all collectively processing an unfulfilling conclusion to proceedings at the weekend, we know it doesn’t take long before people start enthusiastically counting down to the action kicking off all over again – and we’ll see you there.
In the meantime, though, don’t forget that Cliftonville Ladies’ campaign is now well and truly up and running.
Brendan Lynch’s side would be just as honoured to avail of your support during the weeks and months ahead, starting with Friday night’s Sports Direct Women’s Premiership clash with Crusaders Strikers at Seaview.
