Saturday’s Sports Direct Premiership fixture with Larne saw the Invermen become just the 12th opponent that Cliftonville have faced on 200 occasions.

As Heritage Development Officer Paul Treanor notes, the Reds have faced Glentoran more times than any other side (617), with Linfield not far behind (607).

Indeed, of the dozen teams that Cliftonville have locked horns with 200 or more times, nine are competing in this season’s Premiership with the other three being Lisburn Distillery, Ards and Belfast Celtic.
