Keevan Hawthorne, Leppard and Liam McStravick then found the net in a Clearer Water Irish Cup quarter-final triumph over Loughgall before a last-gasp Gormley strike (admittedly also claimed by Jonny Addis) sparked memorable North Belfast Derby celebrations against Crusaders at Seaview.

A narrow loss at Coleraine was followed by a more convincing defeat at Glentoran before a 2-2 home draw with Ballymena United that saw Sean Robertson and Brian Healy on target ahead of the weekend’s 2-0 reverse at Larne.
