Cliftonville Ladies retained the Irish Cup with a stylish victory over Linfield Women at the Clearer Twist Stadium this evening.

After Caitlin McGuinness bagged her obligatory Cup Final goal by sweeping an eye-catching blast home, the Reds doubled their advantage through a towering Fi Morgan header to hold a 2-0 advantage at the interval.

With both defences holding strong, there were no further goals in the second-half, meaning the trophy will be extending its residency at Solitude.
