Going four it

Cliftonville Ladies will be represented across four categories at this weekend’s NIFL Women’s Football Awards.

The curtain comes down on the women’s season when the Reds bid to retain the Irish Cup in tomorrow night’s Final showdown with Linfield, after which all eyes will be on Belfast’s Hilton Hotel, which will host Sunday’s star-studded ceremony.

Cliftonville midfielder Teegan Lynch is in the running for the Women’s Premiership Player of the Year award, with team-mate Naomi McLaughlin in contention for the Young Player accolade alongside Brendan Lynch’s nomination for Manager of the Year.

Marissa Callaghan’s strike against Linfield on the opening night of the season was, meanwhile, included in the now-closed poll for Goal of the Year.

Best wishes are extended to all of the Reds who have been shortlisted for honours, and don’t forget there’s still time to ensure you’re there when the team bid to end their campaign on another trophy-raising high by snapping up your ticket for tomorrow’s battle with the Blues.
