The month ahead: October

Cliftonville face five fixtures across three competitions during a busy October that will also bring the curtain down on another memorable season for our Ladies team.

It all starts this Friday night when the Reds host Glentoran in the Sports Direct Premiership before the Ladies’ last home game of the campaign sees them welcome Lisburn Rangers to Solitude on Saturday evening.

Our defence of the BetMcLean Cup brings Coagh United to north Belfast next Tuesday, after which the concluding fixture of a riveting Sports Direct Women’s Premiership season sees the Reds face off against the Glens at Blanchflower Stadium on the 12th.

Our Men’s team then return to action with a home League game against Larne on October 18, just hours ahead of the Ladies’ bid to retain the Irish Cup when they meet Linfield Women in the Final at the Clearer Twist Stadium.

It’s Reds against Blues again when Solitude stages a County Antrim Shield quarter-final showdown on the 21st ahead of Jim Magilton’s men making their second visit of the campaign to Carrick Rangers four days later – so be sure that all of those dates are in your diary as we gear up for another big run of matches.
