UEFA Matchday Guide
Supporters attending this evening’s sold-out UEFA Conference League clash with St Joseph’s at Solitude are asked to familiarise themselves with our Matchday Guide for the occasion.
Cliftonville play host to the Gibraltar Football League side with the first qualifying round tie delicately poised at 2-2 following last week’s opening leg at Europa Point Stadium. As was the case for that game, the team are looking forward to being roared on by a passionate Red Army and we would love to have you all in your seats in good time for the 7.45pm kick-off.
- With every ticket sold, all fans are encouraged to allow plenty of time to arrive and gain entry;
- If travelling by car, please be mindful of local resident and business entrances when parking and avoid the three streets leading directly to Solitude;
- Kindly ensure you have your QR code ready for scanning at the turnstile;
- Please allow sufficient time to progress through the search area outside the turnstiles;
- Supporters with tickets for the McAlery Stand and Main Stand Lower are to enter the ground via the Cliftonville Street turnstiles;
- Fans with tickets for the Bowling Green End are to enter via the Cliftonville Drive turnstiles;
- Please note that your ticket is only valid for the named stand and that no crossover between stands will be permitted. Once a ticket has been scanned, it will be voided;
- As this is a UEFA fixture, all spectators must be seated;
- Standing on stairways and non-designated seated areas will not be permitted;
- Access to the Social Club will not be permitted during the game;
- For your own safety and comfort, and that of your fellow fans, please cooperate and respect all decisions given by stewards;
- UEFA will have an appointed delegate at the game. Misconduct ultimately results in significant damaging fines for the Club, which we have unfortunately fallen foul of in the past;
- Supporters are kindly asked to ensure that all flags, songs and chants do not breach the Cliftonville FC Code of Conduct or that of UEFA;
- Prohibited items include but are not limited to weapons or items deemed dangerous that may pose threat to another individual, including fireworks, flares, pyrotechnics, explosives, smoke canisters, laser devices, bottles, glass vessels, cans. To be in possession of any of the above items a football game will lead to your eviction and possible arrest;
- CCTV cameras are in use around and in the stadium, and Cliftonville FC may itself use or pass to the police or other relevant authority any recordings for use in any proceedings;
- The Club and stewards will have a zero-tolerance approach on all these matters and are here to make this a safe and welcoming event for you.
We know that our supporters getting behind the team is a guarantee and our players thank you in advance for your backing on what promises to be a big European night in the long and storied history of Ireland’s Oldest Football Club.
