Odumosu moves on

Cliftonville Football Club extends thanks and best wishes for the future to David Odumosu, who has today joined Cork City.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper, who initially moved to the Reds on loan from St Patrick’s Athletic in the summer of 2023 before sealing a transfer the following January, made a total of 74 appearances during his time with the Club.

An Irish Cup winner in May 2024, David – who recorded 28 clean sheets in his two campaigns with us – was also part of the side that lifted last season’s BetMcLean Cup and departs Solitude with the gratitude of all involved with the Reds.

We wish him very well at Cork City and throughout the remainder of his career.

Cliftonville FC also takes this opportunity to formally place on record our thanks to Axel Piesold for his efforts during last season’s loan move from Luton Town.

The 20-year-old midfielder, who scored twice in 36 appearances for the Reds, yesterday completed a move to Galway United, with whom we wish him all the very best.
