Conference calling

Cliftonville will enter the 2025/26 UEFA Conference League in the first qualifying round.

This afternoon’s 2-0 victory over Coleraine in the European Play-Off Final at The Showgrounds stamped the Reds’ passport back to continental action – and there are little more than five weeks to wait until the draw on Tuesday, June 17.

Jim Magilton’s side will be unseeded for the opening phase of the competition, which will take place on July 10 and 17, and supporters can look forward to cliftonvillefc.net once again presenting the internet’s most detailed guide to all possible opposition as we close in on the draw.

As things stand, the majority of entrants to the first qualifying phase have not yet been assigned seeded or unseeded status, however the picture will become clearer as various Leagues and Cup competitions across Europe wind down to a conclusion in the coming weeks.

Guaranteed potential opponents at the minute are League of Ireland duo Shamrock Rovers and St Patrick’s Athletic, while Auda – the Latvian representatives to whom Cliftonville suffered defeat in this season’s second qualifying stage – are also in contention to be seeded.

As ever, cliftonvillefc.net will keep you bang up to date on every conceivable permutation once our guide has been published – but for now, simply sit back and soak in the fact that the Red Army are on their way back to Europe!
