A few days on from saluting Reds supporter Chris McGuigan’s Subbuteo model of Solitude, we are pleased to report that his is not the only replica of our beloved home being put to good use.

For Cliftonville Academy player Fionn Nolan has, thanks to the expertise of father Steven, ownership of a miniature version that harks back to our 2013 Champions League clash with Celtic.

Taking pride of place in nine-year-old Fionn’s ‘Ultras’ bedroom, the model includes the distinctive red and white panelling along the front of the Main Stand, a tunnel emerging from the McAlery Stand and even replicates the pressbox in its top-left corner!

It may be a little while yet before any of us make our returns to Solitude but, until then, we’d be delighted to receive your emails about the Reds-themed activities (Subbuteo or otherwise!) you and your families have been enjoying to pass the time during football’s downtime.
