Cliftonville Ladies 4-1 Lisburn Ladies

Cliftonville Ladies continued their countdown to the new season with a 4-1 victory over fellow Sports Direct Women’s Premiership side Lisburn Ladies at Solitude this afternoon.

After falling behind with four minutes on the clock, Annarose Robinson’s penalty drew the Reds level before fellow newcomer Charlotte Havern made it 2-1 ahead of the break.

Teegan Lynch extended Cliftonville’s advantage on the hour, with Abbie Magee netting late on to wrap things up for Brendan Lynch’s side, whose domestic programme begins with a Boylesport Cup clash against Larne on Friday, April 10.
