Cliftonville Ladies stepped up their countdown to the new season with a friendly against Wexford Women at Solitude yesterday.
Abbie Magee put Brendan Lynch’s side in front during the first-half ahead of the visitors levelling matters after the break.
The Reds’ preparations continue against Crewe United (March 15) and Lisburn Ladies (March 22), while they will soon lock horns with Athlone Town, Cork City and Treaty United in Group 3 of the Women’s All-Island Cup.
Don’t forget, too, that Cliftonville’s defence of the Boyle Sports Women’s Cup begins with an April 12 trip to tackle Larne Women at Inver Park ahead of a Group B trip to Derry City Women (April 19) before hosting Lisburn Rangers on April 26, with group winners advancing to the Final.
