Cliftonville Ladies stepped up their countdown to the new season with a friendly against Wexford Women at Solitude yesterday.

Abbie Magee put Brendan Lynch’s side in front during the first-half ahead of the visitors levelling matters after the break.

The Reds’ preparations continue against Crewe United (March 15) and Lisburn Ladies (March 22), while they will soon lock horns with Athlone Town, Cork City and Treaty United in Group 3 of the Women’s All-Island Cup.
