Striker rrolls in

Cliftonville Football Club are very pleased to announce the signing of Adam Carroll from Warrenpoint Town.

The 24-year-old striker scored 14 goals in the first half of the Playr-Fit Championship season and departs Milltown third-top of a divisional strike chart that is led by fellow recent Reds recruit Brian Healy.

A former Northern Ireland Under-19 international, Adam emerged through the youth ranks at Linfield before undertaking loan spells with Warrenpoint during both the 2019/20 and 2020/21 campaigns. He then moved on loan to Annagh United for the 2021/22 season and, upon the expiration of his contract with the Blues, completed a transfer to Warrenpoint in the summer of 2022.

After one season at Milltown, he moved to Mourne derby rivals Newry City for a year before returning for a fourth stint at the Point, for whom he has netted a total of 30 times in 76 NI Football League appearances.

Jim Magilton’s sixth addition of the January transfer window, all at Solitude extend Adam a very warm welcome to Ireland’s Oldest Football Club.
