Elle of an addition

It’s a sight that Social Club patrons have long grown accustomed to, and we are today pleased to draw a wider audience’s attention to a fresh addition to our celebrated Ulster Footballer of the Year wall at Solitude.

Toasting the achievements of every Cliftonville player to have received the prestigious accolade since the inaugural presentation to Reds legend Kevin McGarry in 1951, the wall recently welcomed Danielle Maxwell to its list of icons following her success last year.

Following on from McGarry, Bobby Carlisle (1984), Marty Tabb (1998), Chris Scannell (2009), Liam Boyce (2013), Joe Gormley (2014), Billie Simpson (2019), Caitlin McGuinness (2023) and Marissa Callaghan (2024), Danielle landed the honour last year to complete a remarkable hat-trick for Cliftonville Ladies.
