The curtain came down on the first month of the domestic season with yesterday’s 3-1 win over Glenavon – but who do you think was the team’s top performer in August?

Ryan Curran found the net in Cliftonville’s defeat to Bangor on the Sports Direct Premiership’s opening weekend and, following a goalless tussle with Coleraine at Solitude, Joe Gormley was on target when the Reds were held to a 1-1 draw by Larne.

After slipping to a 1-0 loss against Linfield last weekend, Cliftonville ended August by overcoming the Lurgan Blues courtesy of strikes from Gormley, Harry Wilson and Jonny Addis.
