Wee Reds are five alive
Crumlin United 0-5 Cliftonville
A youthful Cliftonville side produced a five-star display against Crumlin United in this afternoon’s friendly.
None of the players who featured in Tuesday’s UEFA Conference League opener with St Joseph’s were involved as boss Jim Magilton ran the rule over a host of Academy talents at a sunny Tom McPeake Park.
Conor Falls opened the scoring with Ryan Corrigan scoring from the penalty spot to give the Reds a 2-0 lead at the break, after which Joe Sheridan rifled home a double to make it 4-0 ahead of Owen Mahoney completing the scoring with a confident finish off the inside of the post.
