Solitude took receipt of a welcome new adornment ahead of the new Sports Direct Women’s Premiership season kicking off on Friday night.

Cliftonville Ladies captain Kelsie Burrows was on hand to formally unveil the Champions Flag on the pitch following a remarkable 2024 campaign that saw John McGrady’s side win every League game en route to claiming the title alongside triumphs in both the VBet Women’s League Cup and Electric Ireland Irish Cup.

The flag will now retain pride of place in BT14, where a superb strike from Marissa Callaghan earned the Reds an opening night point against Linfield Women.
