The month ahead: April

A new month brings fresh challenges as Cliftonville gear up for their final five Sports Direct Premiership fixtures, while our Ladies team make their long-awaited return to competitive action.

After visiting Carrick Rangers this evening, Jim Magilton’s side host Ballymena United on Saturday ahead of welcoming Glenavon for our last home fixture of the campaign on the 12th.

The Reds will then do battle with Portadown at Shamrock Park seven days later before bringing the curtain down on their League programme with an away day against Loughgall on Saturday, April 26.

Cliftonville Ladies will, meanwhile, begin their defence of the VBet League Cup when they entertain Derry City Women at Solitude on Friday, April 11.

The following Friday, John McGrady’s side will do battle with Linfield Women in the same competition at Midgley Park before their All-Island League commitments kick off with a journey to Galway United on Sunday, April 26 – so be sure that all of those dates are in your diary as we gear up for another big run of matches.
