Joe marches tall

Congratulations to Joe Gormley, who has been voted March’s Player of the Month by Cliftonville supporters.

The 35-year-old striker – who registered 45% of the poll – hit the only goal of the BetMcLean Cup Final victory over Glentoran, provided the assist for Shea Gordon’s strike against Carrick Rangers, scored the opener in Friday’s Irish Cup semi-final defeat of Ards and, after playing an integral role in Alex Parsons finding the net in the same game, unselfishly teed up Ryan Corrigan to put the seal on things in the closing minutes.

In addition to commending Joe on landing this latest honour, we also place on record our thanks to the many supporters who took the time to get involved in voting and look forward to similar engagement when the time comes to determine April’s top performer.
