Best wishes to Oisin Gamble, who is part of the Northern Ireland Under-17 squad that commences participation in a four-team tournament in Spain this evening.

The Cliftonville Academy defender has been selected in Manager Andy Waterworth’s panel to face Poland tonight, Norway on Saturday and Sweden on Monday.

All games are being played at Estadio Olimpico Camilo Cano in La Nucia, with the event having been arranged in preparation for the forthcoming elite round of Euro 2025 qualifiers.

Congratulations are, meanwhile, extended to Reds youngster Joe Sheridan, who scored in Northern Ireland Schoolboys’ 3-0 win against Jersey last night.

Sheridan – who completed a loan move to Queen’s University on transfer deadline day – opened the scoring in a Man of the Match display at Springfield Stadium, where Cliftonville goalkeeper Oisin Murray kept a clean sheet in a game that also saw Ballyclare Comrades loanee Keevan Hawthorne in the starting XI.
