Glentoran 1-0 Cliftonville

Cliftonville fell to their first defeat of the Sports Direct Premiership season with a sluggish display against Glentoran at The Oval this afternoon.

Behind inside two minutes courtesy of a fine Jordan Jenkins strike, the Reds threatened first-half levellers through Joe Gormley and Ryan Markey while the second period saw Gormley, Ryan Curran and Destiny Ojo go close but, in truth, the visitors were grateful to goalkeeper David Odumosu for a string of saves that prevented the Glens from adding to their early advantage.
