Cliftonville will face Auda in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.

The Latvian side defeated B36 of the Faroe Islands 1-0 in Torshavn this evening to secure a 3-0 aggregate win which secured progression to a showdown with the Reds.

The first leg of the tie will be played at Solitude next Wednesday, July 24 (7.45pm) ahead of the return clash taking place at the 6,750-capacity Skonto Stadium in Riga on Wednesday the 31st at 6pm (8pm local time).

Auda qualified for the Conference League by finishing third in the Latvian Virsliga and are currently enjoying just their second ever European campaign, with their triumph over B36 marking their maiden success in UEFA competition.

Almost two-thirds of the way through their 2024 League season, Auda are currently sixth in the table with 25 points from 22 games, 31 points behind table-topping Champions RFS, and booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Latvian Cup courtesy of a 4-1 victory against second-tier side Marupes last Saturday.

Based in the city of Kekava, Auda – who are playing European home games in nearby Riga as their own 520-capacity Auda Stadium does not meet UEFA licencing requirements – return to Virsliga action when they host bottom side Liepaja on Sunday afternoon.

Tickets for next Wednesday’s opening contest at Solitude are currently on General Sale, while information on ticket availability for the return clash at Skonto Stadium a week later will be communicated as soon as the Club has received details from our opponents.
