Threesy does it for Ryans
Crumlin United 0-8 Cliftonville
Ryan Curran scored a hat-trick as his comeback from injury continued with an impressive display of finishing against Crumlin United this evening.
Ryan Corrigan also netted three times, with a double from Joe Gormley earning the Reds victory at Tom McPeake Park.
After Luke Conlan had seen an early finish ruled out for offside, Cliftonville broke the deadlock when Corrigan provided the finishing touch to a flowing team move.
Curran then struck twice to put the visitors 3-0 up and, after Corrigan had joined him in hitting a brace, Curran’s goal at the end of the first-half wrapped up his treble.
Corrigan’s header shortly after the interval made it six, with substitute Gormley waltzing past the goalkeeper to register his first of the night before his close range finish from Jack Berry’s pass brought the scoring to a conclusion.
