School dudes

As part of the countdown to Saturday’s Clearer Water Irish Cup Final, Cliftonville duo Stephen McGuinness and Stephen Mallon went back to school yesterday – and they had a VIP guest for company.

The trophy took centre stage at both St John The Baptist Primary School (whose principal Chris Donnelly is a Reds Member) and St Bernard’s Primary School (where Club Member Martin Morgan is a teacher), where Mallon and McGuinness took part in respective Question & Answer sessions with pupils.

Suitably grilled by young fans as excitement levels continue to rise, the Cliftonville duo will strive to get further acquainted with the silverware when Jim Magilton’s side face Linfield in Saturday’s eagerly-anticipated decider at Windsor Park.
