Reds fall to heavy loss

Cliftonville crashed to their heaviest ever Premiership defeat on an evening to forget at Inver Park.

Already trailing Larne by two goals following finishes from Lee Bonis and Aaron Donnelly, the Reds’ task grew even harder when Ronan Hale – earlier booked for a foul on home keeper Rohan Ferguson – was shown a yellow card for dissent towards referee Ian McNabb.

Andy Ryan registered a quickfire double to make it 4-0 before half-time, with the Scotsman completing his hat-trick shortly after the break.

A Ben Wilson penalty reduced the arrears before Leroy Millar and Joe Thomson struck in quick succession to make it 7-1 ahead of Chris Gallagher rounding off the scoring in injury-time.
