Open season

As the countdown to Cliftonville Ladies’ new season continues, supporters are alerted to a number of key dates for the diary in the weeks ahead.

The Reds’ All-Island Cup campaign kicks off against Shelbourne at Solitude this Sunday, while their defence of the Women’s Premiership League Cup commences with a trip to Lisburn Ladies on Friday, April 12.

The Sports Direct Women’s Premiership will, meanwhile, commence with John McGrady’s side travelling to Mid Ulster Ladies on Sunday, May 5 and, with the County Antrim Cup draw still to come, there’s plenty to get excited about as a new season looms.
