Reds link up with SGA
Cliftonville Football Club are delighted to announce the launch of Steven Gerrard Academy Cliftonville.
Ireland’s Oldest Football Club have teamed up with SGA to bring a two-year post-16 Elite Football and Education programme to Solitude.
Welcoming the news, Cliftonville’s Head of Academy, Marc Smyth, commented: “I’m very pleased to formally reveal details of our new relationship with the Steven Gerrard Academy.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for our players to commit to full-time football, travel on tours to Liverpool, Spain and the United States while gaining a Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma, which is equivalent to three A-Levels.
“We are committed to taking our development of young players from strength to strength, and this partnership is another avenue through which we can do that.”
