Game on for Rory

Rory Hale has warned Cliftonville against getting caught up in the North Belfast Derby hype ahead of tomorrow’s showdown with Crusaders.

Solitude plays host to an eagerly-anticipated renewal of rivalries and, while the Red Army’s snapping up of all home end tickets reflects their passion for the occasion, Hale says that he and his team-mates must retain focus on the task at hand.

“We know that every game is just another three points up for grabs,” he insists.

“I know it’s a cliche but it’s just another game. The more you get rallied up for the big derbies, the more it can put you off your game. If you take it as the next game as it comes, we’ve gone into that mindset this season and it has worked so far and we will continue to keep doing it”
