Fresh from their European adventure, Cliftonville Ladies return to domestic action in the semi-finals of the Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup on Friday night.

The Reds, who participated in never-to-be-forgotten Champions League jousts with Portuguese giants Benfica and BIIK of Kazakhstan last week, will take on Lisburn Rangers Ladies at Seaview.

John McGrady’s side kicked off their Cup campaign with a 7-2 victory over Linfield Women in late July and, after putting eight unanswered goals past Ballymena United Women in last month’s quarter-final tie, will now tackle recently-crowned NIWFA Championship winners Lisburn Rangers Ladies as they bid to add further silverware to a haul that has recently seen the County Antrim Cup and Women’s League Cup take up residence alongside the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership trophy at Solitude.
