Cliftonville Ladies’ Champions League odyssey ended with defeat to BIIK Kazygurt this morning – but not before a stirring fightback hinted at a famous result in Seixal.

Trailing 2-0, the Reds roared back to level thanks to goals from Danielle Maxwell (pictured) and Marissa Callaghan only to concede a further two times as the Kazakh outfit claimed third place in Group 6 with three points.
