Cliftonville registered 10 points from their opening five games of the Sports Direct Premiership season – but who do you think was the team’s star performer during August?

After Joe Gormley netted either side of a debut strike from Sean Stewart in a 3-0 victory over Glenavon, the Reds hit another three without reply at The Newry Showgrounds, where Luke Turner, Ben Wilson and Rory Hale were on target.

Wilson then bagged a double alongside finishes from Ronan Doherty and Hale as Carrick Rangers were defeated 4-0 and, after Turner found the net in a narrow reverse at the hands of Linfield, Cliftonville ended the opening month of the campaign with Wilson striking in yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Larne.
