Reds Carri on regardless
Cliftonville 4-0 Carrick Rangers
Cliftonville maintained their perfect start to the season with an impressive victory over Carrick Rangers at Solitude this afternoon.
A close-range finish from Ben Wilson set the Reds on their way and, after Ronan Doherty had converted from the penalty spot, Wilson struck again to ensure a 3-0 half-time advantage for the third consecutive game.
Unlike those previous outings, however, Cliftonville added to their tally after the break; Rory Hale volleying in from range after seizing on a miscued clearance from goalkeeper Ross Glendinning.
